- Country Arts Support Program Funds 8 Projects on the Mid North Coast - 139 Projects Statewide
Arts Mid North Coast, Regional Arts NSW and the NSW Ministry for the Arts are pleased to announce that there are 139 successful projects being funded through the Country Arts Support Program, in 2008 statewide totaling approx $204,000, with 8 projects being funded for the Mid North Coast Region, totaling $15,300.

- Mid North Coast Creative Industry Research Project
Arts Mid North Coast is currently seeking submissions from suitably qualified/experienced research practitioners to undertake a research project in the Creative Industries Sector.

- Waterfall Way Centre - Bellingen Shire
Bellingen Shire is gaining a new showcase of the cultural, environmental and commercial assets of its residents after a Council decision to provide the old library space to house the Waterfall Way Centre.

The building will soon house the key visitor service and coordination centre for Waterfall Way, along with an events box office, interactive displays for business and cultural interests, as well as a hub for a collaborative partnership between Council and the community.

- Country Arts Support Program funds 139 new projects for 2008
Regional Arts NSW is delighted to announce the successful funding applicants of this year's Country Arts Support Program (CASP). In 2008, 139 new arts projects will be funded throughout regional, rural and remote NSW, from terrazzo tiles to tiled history poles, comedy to cartooning, and puppetry to pavement art. "This small grants program has a major impact and plays a vital role in regional communities of NSW," said Elizabeth Rogers, CEO of Regional Arts NSW.
