I completed a Diploma of Art Education in Sydney in 1973. After several years of teaching (and painting in my spare time) I took a new career path into graphic design which ultimately led me to having my own business in North Queensland.
I totally enjoyed and was immersed in the challenges of that work until the end of 1992 when I resumed painting. My first major exhibitions were in Melbourne and I have since exhibited in group exhibitions selling to private collectors.
I now live in Coffs Harbour and, apart from several years, I have been painting and drawing full time. The varied disciplines of my formal art training and my work in graphic design, I feel, have informed my work.
