My most recent obsession is making mosaic mandalas but I also create other one off fine glass mosaic pieces. The consistent theme in my practice is a response to the natural world.
I exhibit regularly in local galleries as well as working on community driven public art projects and private commissions.
Where possible I like to work with recycled objects and scrap glass – transforming discarded objects into things of beauty is so satisfying! Another delight is working with special stones found during walks on the beach or in the forest.
I live on the mid north coast of New South Wales. I have been a practising artist for thirty years and during this time I have explored a variety of mediums and forms – in particular writing and wood sculpture.
I have worked in community cultural development for decades and I am quite skilled at planning projects and acquiring funds .
