I began life in sydneys western suburbs moving to this area in 1984 where I was working for telstra at the bellingen line depot have been living at sawtell since moving here from sydney ,left teltra back in 1993 ,been doing various work since , now trying to make a living from my artworks .
I have always been able to draw , art was the favorite subject at school and probably the only high marks I ever got , but when I left school I did not paint or draw for about fifteen years so its good to get back into it again , but for the last five or six years I have been trying to master the art of airbrushing , you can just about paint on anything and it is alot quicker than paintbrush I still paint with a paintbrush but favour the airbrush ,
I have been lucky enough to have had the oportunity to paint some public art at various places , such as the mural on the water tower at woolgoolga headland ,the toilet block on sawtell headland , swimcare swimming centre at middle boambee and all the artwork at the national marine science centre . currently teaching the basics for the airbrush art at the coffs harbour community colledge in the city centre , want to paint more cars though , Ilike the look of the car art ,
I like the challenge of painting some things. I have a web site which I am doing myself ,it has alot of my art on it from pencil , charcoal , pastels ,handpainted with paintbrush and airbrush art as well ,
I like painting and the best part is that people seem to like my art , and if it makes them feel good in some way Ive done my job.
