Olga Dik has been living in Nambucca Heads with her family since January 2007. She has found living here enjoyable and relaxed. Beautiful landscapes and delightful beaches inspire her for the next collection of artwork. Meanwhile she participated in Bellingen Art Prize, Nambucca Valley Art Exhibition 2007and currently exhibiting in EMSLA’s inaugural Salon de Refusee. “The Bunch of Flowers in Vase” was commended at Nambucca Valley Art Exhibition 2007.

Her first solo exhibition was held in Broken Hill where she lived for two years. Since this is a city of artists, living in Broken Hill provided her with many opportunities. Olga participated in, the Women’s Annual Exhibition, and the Outback Art Prize at the Broken Hill Regional Gallery.

Her second solo exhibition was held in Warrnambool where she also was active as an artist. She was a member of the local Artists Society. During one year of living in the city, Olga participated in the exhibition Seeing Red at the Warrnambool Art Gallery, the Warrnambool Artists Society Annual Awards Exhibition and City of Warrnambool Art Show 2006 where she got an award for the best local scene 2nd Prize.

Olga Dik was born and trained as an artist in Russia. Olga studied Fine Art at Evening Youth Art School in Izhevsk in 1986.

Since Olga married, she has traveled widely in Europe, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia. While living on the Gaza Strip, Olga displayed her artwork at the United Nations Club.

Olga paints a wide range of genres: portraits, still life and landscapes executed with skill in oil, acrylic and colour pencils, as well as pastel, gouache and watercolours. Her lacquer miniatures are sold around the world.
