Sol Lucas is a self-taught photographic/artist living on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, Australia.
His photographic-art reflects and embraces mind, body and spirit, with images that are personal and uplifting. One of Sol’s techniques for creating his photo-art, is the use of multi-exposure, whereby images are created without the use of special or darkroom equipment, but within the camera body itself, making for images that are exciting and unique.
For the past several years he has been experimenting with images, creating collages, with the aid of computer technology. Sol’s current projects include a series of photographs and meditative text to be titled “Spirit Exposed’, and a collection of images based on the Buddha.
Besides exhibiting his work in New South Wales, Adelaide & Tasmania, Sol’s photo-art and poetry have also featured in several Australian and international publications, and has had its fair share of success on the competition circuit. Through his photo-art and poetry, Sol aims to inspire and delight, whereby it is hoped one gains a deeper insight into their own person and purpose.
