The Fisher’s Ghost Art Award is an extraordinarily popular event that attracts on average more than six hundred entries per year. Entry forms for the 2008 Fisher's Ghost Art Award are now available from the Campbelltown Arts Centre website. The Fisher's Ghost Art Award is open to any artist, Australia wide, with the option of entering up to two works of art. The cost per entry is $25 per work, with the exception of the GP and GS Awards, which are $5 per entry. The Open Award is the major prize of the exhibition and is open to artworks in any medium. The winner of the Open Award will receive a $20,000 prize and the winning work is acquired by Campbelltown Arts Centre.

Closing 9 October - There is $25,000 in cash and prizes to be won in a wide variety of categories. The Mortimore Art Prize is named in honour of local artist Peter Mortimore who operates one of the largest privately run art schools in Australia from his studio in Dubbo. Judges at this year's Mortimore Prize include Paul Delprat, Alan Somerville and last year’s Best In Show winner Ross Harvey. The artworks entered in this year’s competition will be exhibited at St. Brigid’s Hall from 25 October and at The Scots College in Sydney from late November.
