SUMMARY:Leonard Aitkin Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:I have an exhibition opening at Club Coffs on Thursday 8th March. There will be nibbles. It is an exhibition titled "Windows of Light" and is a collection of paintings which incorporate light in a variety of ways to enhance the paintings. The subject matter of these works is varied - from botanical to conceptual to surreal. If you want a quote: "Light has always played an important role in my works. In Genesis 1:3 it says 'God said\, "Let there be light"'. Light was the first thing god created. Without it nothing is visible. Light reveals all aspects of a motif to the viewer - its physical character\, as well as its mental and spiritual character. It makes all things beautiful because it reveals it for what it is." The exhibition will continue throughout March where all works will be for sale.
