Touring Shows Seeking Presenters

- I cant believe its not Opera
Does opera simultaneously delight, confuse, and bore you? Then I Can’t Believe It’s Not Opera! Is the show you’ve been waiting for!

Join The Diva and her narrator as they de-mystify and modernize the story of a basic opera. Fall in love with Rosina from Rossini’s Barber of Seville, fall into despair with Pamina from Mozart’s Magic Flute, and try not to fall over the Diva’s annoying and interfering family from Puccini’s Gianni Scicchi. Best of all, the diva’s fate is entirely up to you! Will she live happily ever after, be driven to death by her despair, or become embroiled in an unlikely love affair?

DRUMMING ON WATER by Geoff Page

A SUPERB NEW AUSTRALIAN PLAY - A WICKED YARN

Directed by Kate Gaul
Designed by Imogen Keen
With Chrissie Shaw and Sylvia Mitchell

Drumming on Water is a compelling tale of loyalty and obsession, told by Emma Patching, former drummer in an all-girls jazz band playing on the Sydney Harbour Showboat ferries in the 1930s. It is a beautifully wicked yarn, hauntingly echoed and encouraged by the sounds of the saxophone played by a young woman who seems to personify the girls from the band, a vision from the past.

- THE DOG LOGS – Monologues by Dogs
And making their final appearance on the menu is a little winner of a production perfect for venues big and small. So, if you’ve ever considered presenting these precious pouches, get your vote in now, and join your colleagues in Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales who want to tour this production in 2007 or 2008 - this is your last chance!

THE DOG LOGS – Monologues by Dogs - As told to Christopher Johnson

The Dog Logs is a play containing 11 tales of man’s best friend – brought vividly to life by 3 actors and a live musician. Hysterically funny, sometimes poignant and always unique, each one has a twist in the tail! Not just for dog lovers, The Dog Logs ultimately looks at what it means to be human.

- GADGETS - Performed by Joel Salom, Michael Lira and Neill Duncan
If you like dogs, Marguerite Pepper Productions has two! A new show starring a robot dog and for the last time, a show performed by dogs, all about dogs.

GADGETS - Performed by Joel Salom, Michael Lira and Neill Duncan

Former Circus Oz performer Joel Salom performs Gadgets – a comedy/theatre show with live musicians and sidekick Erik the Dog. Joel combines technology into his rhythmical juggling in a wonderfully innovative way, mixing beats and laser lights in a show that puts any nightclub DJ to shame. Joel Salom is lanky and hilarious, he fills the stage with charisma and rips audiences into laughter. Gadget’s special guest, Erik the Dog, is a sharp witty comedian who sings, dances and brings the audience to their paws. The critics said, The wittiest member of the crew is Erik the Dog, a remote-controlled tin terrier who rolls around the stage, chats up the front row and extols the joys of 'sniffing all my friends' bums. Predictably, the kids squeal, the parents groan and the critics quietly shut their notebooks. (Time Out, New York 2004)
